This week I read "A Dead Woman's Secret" by Guy de Maupassant. This short story is about a brother and a sister mourning their deceased mother. The brother and sister sat by the mother's bedside, weeping and weeping until they find letters in their mother's dresser from her secret lover. They then retire from the weeping. Maupassant did a great job of using the evoking emotion E. I could almost feel the pain of the mother's children, as well as the feeling of unease as they were reading the secret letters. Good little read.
